This series is free and open to individuals experiencing persistent symptoms as a result of concussion and their caregivers. The teachings are cumulative, attendance to all sessions is recommended.
Meditation is one powerful way to help transform chaos into inner calm and frustration into joy. Meditation offers a variety of paths--from short to long, guidance to silence, imagery to mantras-- so that everyone can find a practice that works for them.
During this series you will explore how mindfulness works, experience various practices, and discover what resonates with you.
Space is limited.
Concussion Management: Youth Sports to Recreational Athletes
When: February 13th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Where: Bozeman Public Library Conference Room.
On Field Management: Presenter to discuss how young athletes are managed in the school setting and how recreational athletes should approach suspected concussion.
Protective Equipment: Discussion regarding the latest and greatest protective equipment available on the market.
Medical Management and Physical Therapy: This has evolved significantly in the last few years. Learn from the pros when to access care and what to expect.

The Road to Recovery following a concussion can be confusing and scary. The CRC is sponsoring a support group for individuals who have been affected by concussions.
The support group will be an informal meeting where you can share information with and meet others who have sustained concussions. You will also learn more about the Concussion Resource Center.
